Christams Day

On Christmas Day, we woke up, went to church (lit a candle for my brother in Iraq), opened some gifts and went to Rich's Dad's & Joanne's, and Mom & Bob's. We ate lots and lots of food, opened more gifts and had a lot of laughs.

Too tired to drive home last night, so we stayed over. Today we bought some things for the baby at a Target Store in NJ and drove home. And napped...... :)

A Walk With Chunky & Grumpy

Last weekend, we satyed in Bernardsville and took care of Brimmer and Bo. On Saturday afternoon, we took them for a long walk down the street and into the tree farm woods. We didn't see any Deer, Turkeys or, thankfully....Bears.

Wild Turkey

On Saturday we were in Bernardsville dropping off a dishwasher we picked up from Charlie & Michele earlier that day in Brooklyn. When we were pulling up the drive to the house we saw a huge group of Wild Turkey feeding on cracked corn and other grain which Bob spreads out for the Deer.

Rich said that he has never seen such a large group. (He counted 22 together). He got out of the car with the camera and approached them. Because they were all rather shy they followed the Tom off into the woods. 45 minutes later when we were leaving again, they were all back feeding on the corn...

SNOW DAY

Today we woke up to 7 inches of snow and it was still snowing hard...Richs' meeting cancelled and he could not get up the hill to his office with his car...so we called it an official SNOW DAY!!!

We stayed inside most of the day because it was really windy out. The scene outside of our living room window was pretty...looking at the snowy Hudson River...
