~Holiday Week~
We spent the July 4th holiday week at the beach. Weather was great except for Thursday the 6th when it rained all day.
RJ had his first (2) teeth come in. He is also making a lot of new sounds (more high pitched), and he has a deeper fuller laugh. He went into the pool for the first time. While he seemed a little nervous about this new experience, he was really brave and seemed to enjoy his new adventure.
Other that that, we spent time on the wave runners (90+mph trying to keep up with Kevin), kayaking, on the beach, clamming, grilling fish, steaks, hot dogs/hamburgers lots of veggies, watching the Yanks on tv and drinking lots of cold beer.
We also took a tour of the Viking Village Fishery. It is amazing how those long liners go out for a month at a time and bring back so much fish. We were also interested in how the fishery and others like it work to conserve fish populations.
Anyways, the beach was lots of fun and we really didn't want to leave...
