~~Moving Day~~

Today we are moving from Hastings-on-Hudson to Princeton, NJ. Hastings has been a kind home to Rich for 11 years and to our entire family for the past year and a half. We will miss the incredible views of the Hudson River and the Palisades cliffs from our windows, the great convienence to NYC, hiking the Aquaduct Trail, Buffet de la Garre, Maud's, Harvest on Hudson and all of our great neighbors.

Our new home borders the The Deleware & Raritan Canal State Park, The Princeton Country Club , Princeton University is two miles away, it's one and one half mile from Rich's new office and we have a pool! We are looking forward to melding into life in Princeton and having RJ grow up in this great community.

We are only a 50 minute train ride from NYC and we will probably come back to visit Hastings from time to time...

For a moment we considered packing RJ away too.

RJ eating his last breakfast at the old place.

There was an erie fog over the river the day we moved. We will truly miss that spectacular view !

-- Early Spring Hike --

It was the third official day of spring (a few weeks back). We decided to go for a hike in Palisades State Park. This park is directly accross the river from where we live. The trail starts up on top of the cliffs which are over 400 feet above the Hudson and it winds it's way down to the water.

Considering that we are moving in a few weeks, these pics will add to our "Memories of Hastings" file.

A marker in the woods. The border of New York and New Jersey.

The very last remaining snow of winter.

The view towards where we live...

Stoping to rest.

A little ladybug was crawling on RJ's leg.

Our apartment is behind those two white bubbles (tennis courts), on the other side of the river.

RJ fell asleep during the hike back.
