RJ turned two years old last Saturday. We celebrated by taking him to the Adventure Aquarium. RJ had fun petting the sharks, and watching the jellyfish and rays, anemones and clown fish, grouper, great white and hammerhead sharks...even a hippopotamus.
Later we went home and had some birthday cake and special cupcakes. We were happy his friend Ari (& Ari's Mom/Dad & Grandmother), grandad RJ and nauni, uncle Tim and aunt Emma and cousins Avery & Emily could join us.
RJ has had a busy year. Since his last birthday, RJ started eating real food, he crawled, moved from Hastings, ny to Princeton, nj, walked, swam in the pool by himself (with a swim vest), started school, recites the entire alphabet and numbers 1-20 (2 out of 5 trys ;)), developed a vocabulary of about 50 words (English & Chinese), and a dozen phrases and made a lot of new friends.
RJ has been really healthy. RJ's favorite activites include playing with his friends at school, swinging on the swingset and being outdoors, playing guitar and taking baths. RJ had a fun happy second birthday !

4706~Year of Rat
The Rat is the first symbol in the Chinese Zodiac. People born in the Year of the Rat are noted for their charm and attraction for the opposite sex. They work hard to achieve their goals, acquire possessions, and are likely to be perfectionists. They are basically thrifty with money. Rat people are easily angered and love to gossip. Their ambitions are big, and they are usually very successful. They are most compatible with people born in the years of the Dragon, Monkey, and Ox.
Rich is a .......RAT !
